Since mom is still recuperating from her surgery, I passed out candy at her house again this year. We ran out of candy! We had over 100 trick and treaters this year. Between the nice weather - a nice 60 degrees F, and the calendar - a Friday night, we were absolutely inundated with kids!
Overall, though, the quality of the costumes was down. The execption was Steph from knitting group (her kids take music lessons from my mom). She came as the sock knitting fairy - complete with a wand tipped with a ball of yarn. VERY cute.
I was planning on going to the pub tonight, but my throat is all scratchy and my nose is dripping. I think a cold approaches ....... Something wicked this way comes!
