Katie's "Interlocking Balloons" scarf is on repeat 4 of 10, so progress is being made slowly.
This pattern is very clever, with traveling stitches that move over a purl ground. I've not worked with a pattern made up of primarily traveling stitches before, and I'm fascinated by the interplay of the cables.
I'm not happy with the tension on my cable projects. Maybe I'm just being picky, but it just seems more uneven than my work in stocking stitch. See:
I think I may need to go in and ask some advice at the Yarn Barn when this project is done. Blocking may help a bit, as the first repeats have evened themselves quite a bit as I manipulate the fabric above them.
