I was very happy to get to the center point on Long Dog's "St. Sylvestre" this week. While I am still very happy with the lovely color of the linen, this one is being a bit of a slog this time around. Probably because the cross arms are the same braided motif all the way down. I've gotten spoiled on this one with the little blocks of interesting shapes. Even though they repeat, I can mentally break them up into their own little project. Not so with the cross.
I'll just bite the bullet next time this comes up in the rotation and do the other side of horizontal part of the cross. This has really made some good progress since I started working on it again in October.
