Well, I finally finished off the 'Black blob '0 doom' afghan.
Here's a more accurate picutre of the colors, in sunlight. This is a very hard piece to photograph!
Pattern: from an old (1990s) leaflet from Leisure Arts "Big Book of Quick Knit Afghans" 45 x 58 inches
Materials: Caron Simply Soft "Maratime" and Caron One Pound "Black" held together
Needles: US 17
Notes: I think I'd like this better in a smaller gauge, though the drape is nice.
Comments: I got very bored with this at about the halfway point. It was heavy and ackward to work on. I think I'll try to scale the patterns in this book down just a bit - lap robes instead of couch covers
