FO - the Irish Hiking Hat

Oh yeah, a couple of movies worth of stockinette in the round with regular decreases marked on every round and this hat is DONE! The color in this morning's pictures (last post) is much more accurate. I was trying to highlight the cables, but by not using a flash, it mucked up the color balance. I'm really not a good photographer at all LOL.

Pattern: Irish Hiking Hat - Worsted Version with double ear band by Sleepycat (free Internet pattern pdf available here). Cable based on the Irish Hiking Scarf by Hello Yarn

Materials: Lion Brand Woolease Worsted in colorway Grey Heather. Sourced from Michaels in Jacksonville, NC.

Needles: US 8(brim) and 7(body)

Notes: Elegant companion for the Irish Hiking Scarf. I need to practice the grafting technique more before I use it on lace.
