Yesterday, despite 4th of July community worship at the Cathedral, lunch and fireworks, quite a bit of knitting occurred. I got the heel flaps and turns on both socks done and the gussets picked up.
This yarn really did nice things in the heel flap area.
I think it's pretty enough to be used as the 'public' side. File that one back for future reference.
Of course, the heels look pretty good with the traditional side out, too.
Now off to puzzle out how the twisted stitches work down the sides of the gussets - clever, clever, Cookie......
