Here they are!!
Pattern: Chain Link Socks by Deby Lake for Six Sox KAL Yahoo Group
Materials: Brown Sheep Co "Nature Spun Sport" in Heather Grey and Crimson
Needles: US1
Mods: Added one pattern repeat to circumference and subbed out the Wedge Toe Variation from Nancy Bush in place of the kitchnered toe.
Notes: Love this yarn. It did full up very nicely, which makes a fluffy, warm pair of socks. These are hiking boot socks, which is just what I need for winter walking. The pure wool should help shed water and paired with a skin tight pair of silky socks will keep blisters down, too. Toasty toes!!!!
The pattern in the legs is a slip stitch pattern.
PS, don't you love the vintage counters in my kitchen. I'm seriously debating a whole 1950s retro look in there.
