Bummer of a week last week, and the weekend wasn't any better. The oldest "mom" rat passed away. She was my favorite, the most hand tame and gentle. I need to keep working on the other ones, they need to get used to being handled.
I'm just exhausted emotionally and mentally. I think that the reality of the Marine!Goth's upcoming deployment just hit me. He should be here burying his pet. I'm feeling rather put upon in that department.
There was very little knitting done this weekend.

I'm sorry to hear about you losing your beloved pet..I know that can be very upsetting!..and also your sons upcoming deployment. ...mine just left on a 6 mos deployment. (navy)
