Today is Knit in Public Day. And so I did just that.

Now I knit in public all the time. I knit in the breakroom at lunch. I knit in the doctor's and dentist's offices waiting to be called. I knit in meetings for groups that I volunteer at. All in all, I feel like I'm a pretty good ambassador for the craft.

I wasn't able to go to my knit groups "KIP/Socks for Soldiers" knit-in at Ottawa today, because I was busy with a plumber. If a friend is installing a sink for you for the cost of materials, you do it when HE has time, not when it's best for YOU! More on that later.

But I knit in the park for a while this morning before plumbing commenced. At one point I had three little kids clustered around asking questions. My only regret is that I FORGOT TO TAKE THE CAMERA. ARGGGGHH. So no pictures.

Gotta go, Biggins (the plumber boy) needs me to hold a wrench or something.........
