Mom took a fall a few days ago and ended up with a compression fracture in her back. Surgery on Monday 10/20. Either Kimi or I will be staying with her most of the time, since she's on some pretty heavy duty painkillers between now and then.
Needless to say, stitching and complex knitting is right out. I cast on a garter stitch scarf in the hospital this morning while sitting in the Radiology waiting room while mom had bone scans, MRI's etc.
And even garter stitch may be too much for me LOL. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
