Hehee. I went out to lunch with the co-workers and then after bells, I had dinner with Mom. A very quiet Birthday indeed.
I miss Walt today; he always made sure I at least had flowers on my birthday. Now if I get flowers, I have to buy them for myself, which lessen the impact somewhat LOL.
Mom said something to me, though, that was the nicest birthday gift: "You were worth every minute of pain. You are my joy." I feel that way about JC, and it's nice to know that my mom feels the same way about me. So many people in this world don't have that bone deep conviction that their parents love them.

I am sorry I am late but I didn't know it was your b-day. I will not be at the Nov 4th get together but I imagine I will be at whatever is after that. See you then.
